I. The Scriptures:

We believe the Scriptures, being the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, completely inerrant in the original writings, and absolutely authoritative and infallible. (2 Timothy 3:16,172 Timothy 3:16,17

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, in the shedding of His precious blood for the remission of sin, in His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God the Father where He ever lives to make intercession for the saints, in His pre-tribulational and pre-millennial coming for His own, and in His return to earth to reign in power and glory for an thousand years. III. The Devil (Satan):

We believe that Satan, as Lucifer, was cast out of Heaven along with his angels as rebels against God who were and are desirous of overthrowing God and His authority. We believe in the distinct personality of Satan, that he is the ruler of the darkness of this world, author of all sin, a tempter and accuser of the saints, and destined to the judgment of an eternal punishment in the lake of fire. (Isaiah 14:9-15Isaiah 14:9-15

IV. The Creation:

V. The Fall of Man:

We believe that man, in the person of the first Adam, was created in innocence in the image of God. By voluntary transgression Adam fell into sin, thus plunging the whole race into condemnation and death, so that all mankind is born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Men become practical sinners with the first expression of personal choice, not by constraint, but by choice, and so are without excuse before God. (Genesis 3; Psalm 51:5Psalm 51:5

For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) by one man's...: or, by one offence 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. by the offence...: or, by one offence by the righteousness...: or, by one righteousness 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

VI. The Atonement for Sin:

We believe that the only escape from the condemnation of sin is through the atonement wrought by Jesus Christ when He voluntarily took upon Him a human body, yet without sin, and by His suffering, shedding of blood, death, and resurrection. In so doing, He made full satisfaction to the justice of God for the sin of man. The blessings of salvation are given on the ground of grace to all who believe by faith, not of works. It is the duty of all to receive God’s offer of mercy. We further believe that all who trust Christ as Savior are born from above and are eternally secure in Christ. (John 1:1-3John 1:1-3

VII. Sanctification:

We believe that sanctification is an act and process by which, according to the will of God, we are set apart unto God and made partakers of His holiness; that it is instantaneously positional, and practical as it is carried on in the hearts of believers by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit as the believer uses the appointed means, especially the Word of God, self-examination, self-denial, watchfulness, and prayer. VIII. The Resurrection and Second Coming:

We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension to the right hand of God, in His continual intercessory ministry there on our behalf, and in His personal and bodily return from Heaven. Said return will be in two parts: first, at the pre-tribulational rapture when He will meet all believers in the air; second, at the end of the tribulation to execute judgment on them that know not God and obey not the Gospel, and to set up His earthly millennial kingdom. IX. The New Testament Church:

We believe a properly constituted local church is an assembly of regenerated believers who have been immersed on the confession of their faith, and having determined to observe standards of conduct worthy of the holy faith they profess, have voluntarily united for the worship of God, praise, prayer, testimony, the ministry of the Word of God, discipline, and the furtherance of the Gospel throughout the world. X. The Ordinances of the Church:

We believe that Christ instituted only two ordinances to observe until he returns, those being baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

     A. Baptism

As a symbol of regeneration or new birth and identification with Christ, is the immersion of the believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It symbolizes the cleansing of the believer by the Holy Spirit, and the believer’s participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is in no way a component necessary to salvation, but is willingly and gladly submitted to as an act of obedience by the believer. (Mathew 28:19w 28:19

Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. 60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? offend: or, scandalize, or, cause you to stumble 62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

XI. The Saved and the Lost:

We believe that there is an essential difference between the saved and the lost. Those who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and have righteousness imputed by His grace are saved eternally; those who continue in sin and unbelief are lost and condemned. This distinction holds among men both in life and after death. We believe in the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of those who die in their lost condition. (Matthew 25:34-41Matthew 25:34-41
