Be Our Guest
Thank you for considering a visit with us here at Faith. Please be our guest at any of our services. When you come you will find friendly people, Christ honoring music, and a practical lesson from God’s Word. We want to make your visit pleasant and uplifting for you and your whole family. To that end we have guest parking reserved near the entrance to our auditorium. At the entrance, greeters and ushers are available to answer your questions, direct you to the nursery or any of our children and adult classes, or guide you to a seat. Our desire is to be a blessing to our guests and help them grow in their relationship with God. We look forward to the opportunity to minister to you and trust you’ll feel welcome and at home. Below is some helpful information to answer questions you might have and let you know what to expect as you plan your visit.
Our church family typically gathers together three times weekly to pray, hear from God, worship God, and encourage each other to grow in our love for God and our neighbors. Our services start on time, so you’ll want to arrive a few minutes early. Most services last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Our services consist of conservative, inspiring hymns and music sung by our congregation and choir to magnify the Lord Jesus and remind us of the greatness of our God, and clear straightforward Bible teaching and preaching to help us know Him more and follow His will. Your heart will be encouraged to admire and respond to God. During our Sunday services we take an offering when our church family gives to God for the work of the gospel. As our guest, you are not expected to give in this offering, but instead we want our service to be a gift and blessing to you.
Prior to our morning service we have Bible classes for children, teens, and adults to better learn God’s Word and how to apply it to life. Caring, competent teachers will show your children God’s love as they provide age appropriate instruction in a clean, safe environment. Our tiered adult Bible classes are a great opportunity to make new friends, and gives us the time and personal setting to really connect with you. Regardless your stage of life, from college student to senior adult, we have a class with relevant content, a friendly teacher, and real people with whom you can easily relate as we walk life’s journey together.

The middle of the week is a great time to get spiritually refreshed. In the midst of our busy lives, our midweek service is a chance to pause and refocus on prayer and Bible study. In addition to a list of previously submitted prayer requests, we take requests from those in attendance, and take time to pray for each other. The prayer time is followed by a Bible study that typically walks through a book of the Bible or a particular topic.
Meanwhile, the children and teens have their own programs on campus. The teens meet in the basement for S2S (Saved to Serve) youth group – an exciting hour and a half event that includes games, snacks, group discussion, prayer and a Bible lesson geared to help our teens make wise decisions and follow God with their life. The children meet for Master Clubs in the education building. Master Clubs is a fun and enriching time that begins with assembly and pledges. There are games, workbooks, badges, scripture memory, and various service projects to teach our children how to better know and follow their Master – Jesus Christ.

Child care is provided for our regular services and staffed by a team of well prepared and caring teachers, workers and volunteers. All children’s ministry workers must pass a background check. For the nursery there is a check-in desk with a place for you to leave instructions and a pager system should you be needed during the service.
For children’s Sunday school classes, please drop your child off at the classroom with the teacher. If your child is ages 3-5, unless you pick them up, they will be taken to KinderChurch during the morning service. If your child is 1st-6th grade, please let the teacher know if you will pick them up or would like them dismissed to the auditorium. Your teen will be dismissed to go to the auditorium.

Questions & Answers
What is typical attire?
We have no dress code for those who attend Faith Baptist. Our concern is that the Lord speak to your heart; not the formality of your attire. Visiting a new church can be an uncertain experience, and many guests may like an idea of what others will be wearing so they won’t feel out of place. On Sundays many of our church family will be wearing attire ranging from corporate casual to traditional “Sunday Dress” including coat and tie and dresses. On Wednesday evenings we are more relaxed with the children and teens dressed for their activities and games. For children and teens, closed toed shoes are recommended on Wednesday evenings for the game times.
Am I expected to donate?
No. We want our services to be a gift and blessing to you.
What is your worship style?
Traditional and uplifting. We have a choir and orchestra rather than a band and praise team.
