Faith Baptist Church has recently called Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh to be the next Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church.
Dr. Jeffrey Alan Amsbaugh was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on December 8, 1964, to Art and Janet Amsbaugh. Raised in a devout Christian home, Jeff came to know Christ as his personal Savior at the age of four during family devotions. His early love for Scripture and ministry would become the foundation for a lifetime of faithful service.
Jeff and his wife, Karen, were married in 1987 and have three daughters—Ashley, Amy, and April—each serving as educators at Christian or classical schools. Karen continues to minister through women’s Bible studies and counseling at Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center. Together, they share a heart for discipleship, family, and the local church.
Dr. Amsbaugh has served in full-time pastoral ministry for over 35 years in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Rhode Island, and Virginia. His leadership has been marked by:
· Founding the Freedom House servicemen’s center near Fort Benning, GA (thousands reached with the Gospel).
· Overseeing multiple church plants and a Spanish ministry.
· Growing missions programs and leading building renovations.
· Teaching and mentoring young pastors and missionaries worldwide.
Dr. Amsbaugh teaches Bible and Theology at Pensacola Christian College and Pensacola Theological Seminary.
He also serves on several ministry boards, including:
Medical Missions Outreach, Fundamental Baptist Mission to India and Bill Rice Ranch
