Pastor & Deanna Meloy were married in 1962 when he was a student at BJU. Two years after his 1963 graduation with a B.A. in Bible, Pastor Meloy began serving at Columbiana Bible Church in Ohio. In 1966 they planted a church in PA, Grace Bible Church and served there until 1978. Later that year, they moved to Pensacola when Pastor Meloy was called to serve as senior pastor at Faith. After pastoring here for 29 years, he retired in February, 2007. During his years at Faith, Pastor Meloy received a Masters In Bible Exposition from PCC and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity recognition from BJU. For 2 ½ years following his retirement, he and Deanna travelled and represented the ministry of the Caribbean Radio Lighthouse – a missionary radio station located on the island of Antigua in the West Indies. Beginning in early 2009 and continuing until June 2023, Pastor Meloy served as Interim Pastor for eight different churches in Florida, Alabama, Vermont, Tennessee, Arizona and Virginia. Since June of 2022, they have primarily remained at home, where they enjoy being a part of and serving here at FBC. During these past couple of years, he has also been called upon to fill the pulpit in area churches as well as on occasion preaching/teaching here at Faith. Jason Haddox
Music Director
Jason and Gerri Ann Haddox have attended Faith since 2009. Jason graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Masters in Church Music. He currently leads the choir and congregational singing. Gerri Ann works for PCC in the business and records offices and is involved in many of Faith’s children and music programs. Jason and Gerri Ann have been married for over 10 years and have three children. Email Jason Haddox
Teri Pate
Administrative Assistant to the pastor
Teri Pate has served as the church secretary on both a part-time and full-time basis for more than 20 years. She graduated from PCC with a degree in Elementary Education and also met her husband Mark during her college years. Following two years as a classroom teacher, her college training served her well as she has guided the homeschooling of their four children. Teri thoroughly enjoys serving the Lord by ministering to the people of Faith Baptist and through her administrative duties. Mark and Teri now enjoy the added blessing of being grandparents.
